ZOMBIE BEES?! That's terrifying.
Back to the question though...The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success by Deepak Chopra is a great read. It's short and easy to understand. The concepts are also very applicable to your life and can also be applied to how you run your business. Basically, it's a great book. I highly recommend it.

I think the important lesson learned by a prime example of ingenuity like Instagram is creating a product that 25,000 people want to use the first day. It can be done, but what is key is a desirable, unique product.

This would be great for me! Especially since I am forgetful and need to keep organized in order to stay on top of things. Great post, definitely will try this out. I think it would be great no only for individuals, but businesses to stay focused and track progress.

I'm currently reading "The Happiness Project" by Gretchen Rubin. I'm only half way through, but so far it is inspiring and shows the little things you can do in your life to generate more happiness for yourself and those around you. I plan on modeling a happiness project off of hers for myself. I would recommend it for all because everyone deserves extra boosts of happiness, and it seems so simple to do.

I've always had planners for school and work until I realized that I only actually use them for a few months and then give up. I've come to find the calendar on gmail to be useful since it's so much easier to type than to write it down on paper (I'm lazy haha). It's much easier to track what needs to get done than a physical planner in your hands. Both work and personal can be mixed easily either on the same calendar using different colors, or creating multiple calendars that can be viewed at the same time. I block off certain parts of a day to dedicate to the areas that I need to work on. What you are doing is for the bigger picture, something that I know I should get on board with as well. Thanks for the tip!

The blog that Peter Thiel's start up notes are posted on is incredible. Have been reading through all of those notes for about a week now, and really getting a lot of value out of them. Thanks for the share, Rahul.
